Playing Catch-Up
As promised, I'm here with news on how the next arc is shaping up. I've sat down with a handful of really fantastic artists to discuss what could come next for House of ORR, but nothing concrete in terms of a timeline has happened. Which, while disappointing to you the reader, has some extra benefit to me-the-creator that will payoff in the long run.
I'm using this gap to finish up a few dangling projects before launching the next arc of ORR, and the first on the list is a book called Colonial Souls, written by me and illustrated by Andrew MacLean. This is a four issue mini series that I'm releasing digitally, and you can a preview for above. What's it about?
After ages of interstellar imperialism, a race of humanoid bugs finds themselves defeated and scattered to the brink of extinction. We follow a young queen and her weathered protector as they attempt to peacefully obtain the souls their colony's eggs require for reincarnation if their species is to survive.
Sounds pretty wild, eh? Hope you'll take a chance on checking it out.
I've got a few more projects in various states of completion that I'm going to try and sew up, but I'll be back January 9th to give an update on where things stand with getting the next chunk of House of ORR to you! In the meantime, anything you can do to spread the word about the guild really, really helps.
